    M.2 Suddenly Disappeared?

I’ve had an ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro 1TB M.2 since 2021. I’ve just been gaming and my computer froze, I hit the reset button and now it appears to have disappeared. I’ve lost a load of programs and it isn’t on windows explorer. I’ve just looked in the BIOS and it isn’t listed on there. I’ve also just downloaded CrystalDisk and it isn’t on there either.

Has my drive just failed? Is there anything I can do/check before I start to look at replacing?

sounds like a classic drive failure.
      did you have backups?!

Manually remove the drive then turn on the system.
        Power off
Reattach the drive maybe if there is one try a different slot.
Power on and see if that corrects it.

        Clear the CMOS

Sometimes reseating gets the system to notice it. One it is noticed (of it is) BACK UP to and external media in case like Bruce stated failing drive.
