White light on motherboard and display not working

This morning I bought a new CPU and RAM to replace my old ones as they had been unchanged for around 4 years. I switched out both of them the exact same way I installed them and now my display is not turning on and I have a white light on my motherboard with the label CPU under it. I have checked extensively to see if my RAM and CPU are compatible with my motherboard and they are according to the MSI website but it’s still not working. I have also tried switching the position of the RAM, reseating the CPU and it’s fan and trying the display in different ports. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello

It seems that light is pointing to a GPU issue.

all is sorted out now, took me quite a few hours but I figured out that my BIOS was out of date so I had to use M-Flash to update it and its all working now
