Genuinely confused.

I have just got my son’s computer running again by replacing memory cards that weren’t working. Untill now the PC wouldn’t even fire up.
Now however I have problem with interference across the screen followed by mouse and keyboard freezing.
The screen then goes black and returns again after which the mouse and keyboard work again.
This problem starts occasionally but increases in frequency the longer it’s on.

Sorry but you have post on a tech forum asking for help but have provided zero information about your computer or it`s hardware, this makes it impossible for anyone to even hazard a guess as to what is going on.

If the computer is a desktop can you post the brand and model name or number of the power supply (PSU).

If the computer will stay on do #1, if not, step 2 if you will;

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Is the computer a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM ( including the amount and speed ) add on video card if one is used and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better help you.
