As of late my PC has had issues with starting up. When I turn on the PC, it takes 30 seconds to show anything on my monitor. The VGA debug LED goes white for about 25 seconds, then I get a response. However, it instantly goes to BIOS and I can’t leave. When it’s in BIOS, the BOOT LED shines green.
Things I’ve done to try and solve it with no help are:
[ul]
[li]Test different memory[/li][li]Unplug->Replug my graphics card[/li][li]Update my BIOS.[/li][li]Restore BIOS to factory default settings.[/li][li]Clear CMOS by taking out the circular battery.[/li][li]Use a different monitor/different input/different cable.[/li][/ul]
I haven’t been able to tell if it’s a graphics card problem because my CPU doesn’t have integrated graphics.
Currently I’m under a bit of a time crunch because I have my year 12 end of year exams (HSC’s for those in Australia) and my PC has some stuff that isn’t necessary but makes studying a lot easier, so it would be great if I could get any help on this, whether it’s suggesting what the problem is or possible solutions. If you can’t, have a great day
If you need any extra info on my PC, please ask. Thanks!
