Monitor shows no signal after hdmi cable was unplugged and then plugged back in (motherboard). Then i tried plugging it in GPU and it works, however it puts me into temporary account and im unable to login in my ‘‘user’’ account. That means that all of my settings, desktop icons, background are set to default and im logged off my accounts. Btw, it was always plugged in motherboard and was working ever since.
Specs:
GPU: GTX 1050 3gb
CPU: Ryzen 3 1200
Motherboard: ASUS Prime 320m-k
if the program didn’t help, log back in as normal.
Windows should again say something like “corrupt profile found, creating temporary profile” and log you in.
you now need to create another login account, do that making it an Admin type of account.
now reboot and sign in with the new user you just created.
when you go to File Explorer, C:\Users folder, you’ll see your old account and now the new one.
from the old account folder, copy the Documents, Picture, Music, Video, Downloads, Desktop, and whatever other files you want, over to the new user account folder.
when you are happy all you files are copied across, you can go back into Settings > Accounts and delete the old user login account.
