I have a gtx 1060 3gb intel i5-9400F and 16GB of DDR3 RAM and yet when I run csgo with 4 chrome tabs open every application crashes. Before crashing everything functions normally, I just want to find the root cause so I can replace it. I’ve used DDU to reset my GPU drivers, I’ve run memtest on my RAM, I’ve checked the file integrity of windows and reset all drivers I could all to no avail. Memtest showed no issues and I even used OCCT to test my VRAM which showed nothing wrong at 90% utilisation. All temperatures are within normal ranges when running and if I view performance in task manager while the crash happens nothing is stressed except the GPU at the moment of the crash. I have attached 2 photos of errors from the crashes although most crashes don’t give any error codes. This issue has been slowly getting worse and worse over the past few month where I cannot ignore it anymore. Any help finding the cause would be appreciated as I don’t want to waste money replacing something that wont fix the issue. thanks
Applications crash under less and less stress.

Let’s get your complete PC specs.
get Speccy from here; Speccy - Download Builds
in Speccy, click File > Publish Snapshot (hit Yes if prompted to proceed with publish) > Copy to Clipboard > Close.
now you can paste (Ctrl+V) that link into your next post.
One component Speccy doesn’t cover is the Power Supply Unit, so also include the make/model of the PSU. -
-
while probably not the reason for your issues, that’s a Tier C level PSU meant for low end rigs.
and it’s only Bronze rated.
your GPU has a minimum 400w requirement, so not much wiggle room.
from the Speccy report. some standouts are;
[ul]
[li]uninstall Avast AV, there is no need to have two AV programs running, and the inbuilt Defender is excellent.[/li][li]change the Power Profile to Balance.[/li][li]try disabling the VPN[/li][li]space on C:\ is very low. run CCleaner or Glary Disk Cleaner or the inbuilt cleanmgr command to recover some space.[/li][li]the number of SMART free fall events detected by the accelerometer is high.[/li][/ul]
see if any of that helps.
how old is the GPU?Comment

get the Avast removal tool from here; Avast Removal Tool | Download Avast Clear | Avast
the Free Fall events that are reported by SMART are higher than expected G-forces detected by the inbuilt accelerometer. could mean the PC has been dropped, knocked, or just spun around too fast.
nothing you can do to ‘fix’ them. maybe scan the drive for errors.
run these from an elevated command prompt;
[ul]
[li]chkdsk c: /r[/li][li]sfc /scannow[/li][li]dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth[/li][li]dism /online /cleanup-image /startcomponentcleanup /resetbase[/li][/ul]

List Installed Programs
List Devices (Only Problems)
List Users, Partitions and Memory size
Click on Go.

You RAM is set outside for what the processor can handle.

First issue I see is you are running out of space. This is because Windows requires on average 30% to 35% free space including 32 GB free space for updates, 7-10 GB reserved for future proofing on the C drive.
This is not including and limited to what the system uses for backups, swap page and hibernate files.[/COLOR]Comment

The manual is not very good at showing bios information.
You would need to enter the BIOS and F5: Enter Memory-Z menu
Then you would need to either work it out or take a pic and post it here.
You need to look for setting the ram speed and voltage as per Rustys post #10 and test.Comment
