So unplugging the second monitor did help overall. The game for the first 30 mins ran smooth but like before, after an hour or so it started to get some lag. They where no where near as bad and where less frequent but was still laggy at times after the 1 hour mark.

can i also get a recommendation for a VPN, i mostly used Norton for the VPN and internet is less than helpful since its mostly paid ad’s recommending stuff. preferably free or if anyone knows if opera GX’s VPN is good.

Some good news at least but i`m afraid that you still have Norton installed and running while Defender is which is real bad.

i can try doing some things to remove norton but i already went through that thing that uninstalls it and deleted any files on my pc, it just re-installs itself.

As for VPN, i would like one to have for ‘guy things’ and things like steamunlocked but if you havn’t got any recommendations then i can just search around.

What would be the next step for testing my pc? can a 3080 just not work with 2, 4k monitors?

You 100% need to get rid of Norton and no way should it be reinstalling itself.

Whatever you do, do not install any VPN while you are troubleshooting.

We need to see a Speccy url that does not show Norton still on the computer, see suggested solution on Norton forum here

so i can’t get rid of norton. I’ve done everything the forum recommends, turn off windows fast startup, use the tool to both fix and remove, check windows schedular and check the temp file. I also searched my entire c drive with anything called norton and there is nothing on my pc.. but it still shows on the speccy.

First and foremost is your thread title;

We have confirmed that there is zero wrong with your GPU so technically this thread/question has been resolved and the thread should be marked and closed.

Secondly, it has been determined that all your remaining issues are internet connection related so you really should be getting help on the Networking forums.

And last but not least, being that you are having problems with an AV program you may if with my help you cannot get rid of it have to start a thread on the malware/security forums.

Entirely your choice, do you want start another thread on one of the other forums or stick with what is trying to be done to help you here.

Well… i apologies for wasting both our times. if me underperforming in both Diablo and other games including offline games is network issues and now having my VPN and anti-virus uninstalled with possible issues their i’ll just contact NZXT. Have a good day

You didn`t waste anyone’s time, your initial question was answered and had you not questioned the need to get rid of Norton 360 I would have helped you to remove it, as said, it was your choice.
