Could be anything.
Do any of the fans come on when you go to power on the system?
Would strongly suggest that you replace the PSU it is honestly cheap.
Which may have been overworked and taken some components with it.
What were the results after removing the GPU?
You are taking proper precautions while working inside the system?
Honestly think for the sounds the motherboard is gone.Comment

I found out that the PSU is actually making the noise, but it won’t hurt to replace the motherboard too. Should I just replace the PSU first then the motherboard? Or vice versa?Comment

While waiting for the PSU to arrive, I have a question. Why does it turn on when it’s plugged in the main socket and satas also plugged in, but when it gets plugged into the ATX12V input, it won’t turn on at all? Also I found this PSU, I think it will do.Comment

wouldn’t touch that PSU.
only Bronze rated, no mention of the warranty period and doesn’t show up in Johnny Lucky’s list.
here is my standard PSU reply…
Any power supply unit certified 80+ Gold (or better) and offering at least a 7 year warranty (preferably 10), and you can’t go wrong.
For example, ThermalTake ToughPower GF1 or GF3 ranges, Cooler Master, Antec, Corsair RM series.
