PC won't boot after sleep mode.

Hello, I bought a brand new prebuilt PC from iBuyPower. It’s been working perfectly for a few days. Last night I put it to sleep and went to bed. Today when I woke up it was still sleeping, but clicking the keyboard or mouse wouldn’t wake it up. I decided to power it off by holding the power button on the case, and it powered off. Now, it won’t power on at all. Literally nothing happens. It seems to just be dead.

I switched outlets, unplugged and waited, plugged it back in, etc. The PC was working perfectly before this. I haven’t moved it or messed with any of the internal hardware. Any help is appreciated.

The case is a Y40 IBP I think.

Since the system is probably still under warranty strongly suggest that you contact them. Some manufactures will not honor the warranty if the system has been opened.

Does the system show any type of life?
    Lights color flash?
    Fans?

Could be a bad power supply.
    Loose cable

No signs of life whatsoever. Can’t figure out how it would go bad so quickly. I feel like I’m missing something. It’s run perfectly for about three days, even through restarts and through sleep mode. Only today, despite me not even so much as bumping the case, it decided to simply stop functioning entirely.

I got it from Best Buy and they have a 14 day return/exchange policy so I’ll call them and see if it’s possible to return it since it’s been used.

What about the warranty that would be under the manufacture?

If for whatever reason still get nowhere, we can help. Yet you will/may carry out of pocket expense for replacement parts.
