Wont start at home but everwhere else

So my computer stopped working randomly one day so I took it in to microcenter and it turned on just fine no issue. My power strip was very old so thought maybe that was an issue and got a new one brought it home and have the same issue. I have tried plugging it in at every outlet I can think of in my home and it does the same thing. Posting a video below of what it does when I try to start it. Any ideas?

    Hello

I would check the pc for loose connections, power off of course also after unplugged press the power button to drain any residue power from it and ground yourself by touching any metal .

Thanks but unfortunately they did all that at microcenter and nothing was loose.

g’day and welcome to the forums. (y)

when you take the PC somewhere else, what are you taking, just the tower?

I had the same problem about 7 years ago, a PC wouldn’t start at a clients place, but worked fine at mine.
took it back to theirs, still no go, bought it back to mine, all good.

traced the issue to their keyboard, replaced that and all good at their place.

        so look at your peripherals.

Wouldn’t have thought of that but I don’t have anything hooked up to it at all just trying to get it to power on

so what you do in the video at your place, it does what is shown, but at the other place, it worked fine?
have you tried changing the power cable?

only thing I’d be doing is to dismantle the whole thing and reassemble on a piece of cardboard.
only reconnect the essential components to get the PC to boot - so only one drive, one stick of RAM - that sort of thing.
take the opportunity to wipe all the circuit boards, contacts and motherboard slots with a sift bristled brush.

                cross your fingers!
