who knows, but maybe that SSD got hot from the eBay seller, if he had it in use.
the warranty is with the manufacturer, not the retailer.
a retailer acts as a middle-man, he’ll give you the replacement part as part of good customer service, then chase up reimbursement from his supplier.
a few retailers will direct you to do that process yourself.

if you have the receipts, I’d be logging a return merchandise authorization (RMA) form with Samsung.
quick guide here; How to RMA a Defective Product

Yeah…I reinstalled the game and played it with no mods it seemed fine then I started adding 3 mods at a time.
Got to around 12 mods then buzz-reset, posted on reddit forum someone suggested turning antivirus off but I only had real time protection on but turned it off and it was fine with 100 mods for around 7 hours then crashed.
The strange thing is the temps were fine and it would crash within 2-5 minutes with a few mods, i turned off real time protection and it ran fine for 7 hours with over 100 mods.

Why has nobody written an event logger that monitors in real time for crashes like this
I thought I found one called lasteventviewer but it just reports everything the computer has done from the logs was hoping to run it and log everything that happens.

so you have gotten passed the repair loop problem and sorted out your SSD issues?

I would say yes the only problem I have now is playing skyrim without it crashing the computer which is probably what caused my SSD to brick, just played a new game and that works fine no crashes its just skyrim. Since I think its that game It is probably better for me to post on reddit skyrim forum and not this one as I am sure you are busy.
