Blackscreen when GPU hits 77 degrees °C

Hello

Whenever my gpu reaches 77 degrees (celsius) I get a Blackscreen and the fans go crazy. In this time I cannot control my pc and therefore I have to manually shut it down.
The problem first occured in february playing Hogwarts Legacy but now I can’t play any game because my gpu rises in temp and doesn’t cool down.
I already uninstalled the graphic driver with DDU and even tried an older driver because of the CPU bug that has happened.
The pc is 1 year old and has a rtx 3080. (acer orion 5000)
I tested the gpu in Furmark and once it reaches 77degrees I get a blackscreen, however after I installed afterburner and just enabeld the fan curve my PC stayed longer in Furmark (3 mins instead of 1) but the blackscreen still appears. the hotspot temp is 90°
I cleaned my pc yesterday in hope it would function again but no luck either. BIOS is also up to date.
I dont know what to do anymore

sounds simply to be too much heat being generated and not being controlled.
at only a year, it shouldn’t need it, but you could replaced the thermal paste under the GPU and CPU heatsinks.
but it sounds like the rig needs more fans.
more intake and more exhaust fans.

Hello, its a desktop
to be more specific its an Acer Orion 5000 PO5-625s (RTX3080)

quick and cheap way to tell if airflow, or lack of, is a probable factor is to take off the side cover and direct a pedestal or desktop fan onto the opened chassis.
whack the fan on nice and high and see if the temps climb.

hey, dont have a fan handy but opened the chassis and put something under the pc so the psu gets airflow aswell
and it seems to be the problem as I can run furmark and peaking at 65°, i only ran it for 6mins though

but i have a cat so an permanent open chassis doesnt seem to be the best solution as she is very curious. My question would be, how can I make a better airflow?

from the pic I can see you have liquid cooling, so that’s a good start.
make sure the back fan is drawing air out and not in.
similarly the front fan, make sure it is drawing air in and not out.
try and improve the cables near both fans, see if they can be move to improve air flow.

are there any more fans in the chassis?
where is the GPU exhausting its hot air?

looks like the PSU is on the bottom, those usually have dust filters under the case, see if yours if full of cat hair.
I’d also be checking the GPU fan blades and heat sink for similar build up.
and check behind the front cover as well.
