hi all my brothers pc wont boot into windows, ive reinstalled windows and still wont boot i plugged his boot drive into my pc and it boots just fine i feel like it a hardware issue, how do i go about solving what the issue is
i dont know any of the specs its a pre built system and from what my brother tells me he was playing games fine then the next day when he goes to turn it on it doesnt boot and a blue screen comes on, ive reset bios to defaults, ive tried reinstalling windows and it wont let me do that.

How and where did the install media come from?
You posted on a tech forum and have yet to include any information about the hardware from the system.
This could be anything for hardware failure to misconfigured BIOS.
i dont know the make and model i believe it was brought off amazon over 5 years ago and cant find the order anywhere.
the system tries to boot but endlessly restarts and sometimes it does that recovery thing where its tries to fix the problems but when that happens it blue screens and then goes back to restarting over and over again.
when the pc goes into automatic repair it blue screen it doesnt allow me to go into advanced options to try bott to safe mode or revert windows updates
Without knowing the specs of the machine I can’t give an exact guess, but if the boot drive works fine on another machine it definitely sounds hardware related to me. I would try disassembly/reassembly, could be something as simple as a disconnected header.
You could try pulling the GPU and plugging directly into the motherboard, but without knowing your CPU you might not get video output from this.
It could also be a PSU issue, you didn’t specify if the fans turn on or you get any response when pressing the power button, but you could also try swapping this with the known good one from your PC.
Finally, pulling the ram and trying the sticks (if there are multiple) separately and in different slots.
