Hi All,
My friend gave me his PC as he has forgotten his BIOS password.
It’s a Chinese motherboard and I cannot for the life of me find a manual.
Under the CPU fan there is a description of how to reset CMOS pins 1+2 are normal, Pins 2+3 to clear CMOS. I have tried moving jumper to 2+3 but nothing.
Tried this in different time lengths
30 sec, 5mins, 15min,30 mins over night.
Tried removing cmos battery also different times sample as above.
Tried using the PW SW on the front panel on the pins 2+3 holding for 20 secs still asking for BIOS password.
When you put password in wrong 3 times don’t get a code just locks and have to power off.
Any one any advice.
