I want to get a 750W psu but i’m not sure about brands.
If i need a new motherboard any recommendations?

Your new CPU will only support memory up to 2933MHz, your motherboard will only support up to 2400MHz, this can cause issue if you try to use your 3200MHz ram with them.

Your PSU is not something I would use in a proper system, any power supply in a gaming system/system with a GPU needs to be at least 80+ Gold rated.

A good PSU from EVGA, Corsair, or Seasonic with a 10-Year warranty should last you as long as you want, this list is comprehensive on what is good and what is junk. This article tells you what you need for your GPU and what is recommended.

No CPU cooler or case info is apparent, are you attempting to upgrade a prebuilt?

Case info I’m not sure because it’s an old prebuilt from 5 years ago

So do you think if I only use 1X 16GB ram stick it would be okay? I don’t really need 32GB.

If the CPU you received works with your current board, I’d just drop it in, load a fresh install of your OS and Drivers, and see where that gets you before spending a lot of money. Unless you have a clear goal of something you want (i.e. running a certain game/program, or getting more performance) then I would wait until the need arises, save your money, and buy exactly what you want/need.

Unfortunately there will come a time when you need to upgrade again, with the higher 30 series cards requiring up to 1000W PSUs, but a 750W should cover what you need for the foreseeable future.
So do you think if I only use 1X 16GB ram stick it would be okay? I don’t really need 32GB.

Memory runs best in a 2-stick configuration, 2x8GB sticks will be somewhere around twice as fast as 1x16GB

Depends on what you want, almost any board from a reputable partner should be okay. I like ASUS, but I have heard good things about Gigabyte, MSI, and ASRock as well. Most of these brands should come with a 3-year comprehensive warranty, which in my mind makes them about equal.
