Core Issue with New Computer right out of the box

    Previous Build: ASUS Prime Z370-A Motherboard, Intel Core i7-8700K 3.7, GeForce RTX 1050ti, 2x GSkill 16GB DDR4 3400, 500GB NVMe, Ironwolf 10TB HD

    New Build: ASUS Prime Z690-P D4 Motherboard, Intel Core i7-12700KF 3.6, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, 2x GSkill 16GB DDR4 3400, 500GB PCIe NVMe SSD, 2TB HDD

Issue: Cannot run my normal programs on the new build. According to HWiNFO, my cores are maxing out while playing just World of Warcraft or any other game for that matter. Nothing else out of the ordinary with any other parts of the system. On the previous build I was able to have WoW up on my second monitor, play Valorant on the main monitor, Discord running in the background, and a web browser with multiple tabs open with no issue at all. On the new build, as soon as I load any other game, the entire system starts to lag and have major input issues. My main issue is that even with only 1 game up and Discord. if I want to load a web browser to do some research, say something from WoW, it will cause the system to start bugging out, especially if it’s a video that I’m loading.

Question: Is it possible to tweak this something in this build settings to fix this or should I swap the processor out for a better one? The only other alternative in mind is to try return this PC, which I REALLY do no want to do if I don’t have to.

No, I am not. I should have stated this in the post but the previous RAM that came with the setup was XPG GAMMIX D10 8G DDR4 3200. I swapped to RAM initially to see if the low memory was the problem or the memory itself, but obviously that wasn’t it.

[HEADING=3]Can you Download and run and then post. Speccy - Free Download
To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:[/HEADING]
[HEADING=3]In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.[/HEADING]
In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

The last part of each URL is randomized, so only people you provide with the URL will be able to find your profile.

The information given in Speccy cannot be used by anyone to hack your system

Could you also include the power supply specs E.g Cooler Master 850W Gold V2 NOT E.g 850w

              Windows 11 Home 64-bit

              The drivers were not correctly installed, see my canned explanation below;
Once Windows has been clean installed you must then install first the MBs chipset drivers, then the storage/SATA drivers and third the graphics drivers, the drivers can either come from a disk provided by the motherboard manufacturer or downloaded from their site and saved to a flash drive etc, this is a must and Windows should not be allowed to check for updates before it has been done as more often than not Windows installs the wrong drivers or in the incorrect order and this can cause all sorts of problems.

Complete garbage and shouldn’t be used anywhere near any add on GPU let alone a high end card like yours, any decent Gold efficiency rated PSU will have a minimum of a seven year warranty but most are ten, the Apevia is a lowly three years

When independently tested the present PSU was rated as Tier C • Low-end[/COLOR]

It looks like it is wrong from the start
                I would return
If you start to pay for parts e.g new power supply, you are just throwing money away
