Wi-fi or cable

If a computer is wi-fi capable, and I connect to my modem with an ethernet cable, what will be the default connection for the computer ??

If you are connected to the same network through a wire and Wi-Fi, it should default to ethernet.

If you are on a Windows machine it shows an icon of a computer with an ethernet cord in the corner.

Worst case you can disconnect from the wireless network and plug in.
