    Nvidia updating issue (code 43)

I try to update my Nvidia driver to the latest but it says that the windows stop this because it has reported problems (code 43) I have been trying to solve this for almost 2 weeks. I already try any solution that i found on youtube but still none of it work. my gpu works perfectly fine but it just doesnt update to the newest version it only accept the 2018 version of the driver. What should i do? Thanks a lot if someone respond

    Try running Display Driver Uninstaller.

Run DDU and install a fresh set of drivers from here.

An important note: You MUST download the driver executable and disconnect your computer from the internet before running DDU, otherwise Windows will attempt to automatically download drivers (which you don’t want).

What GPU do you have? The power supply would be good to know as well.

          Let’s get some more information:

          Download and run speccy.

Once you have ran speccy, follow the instructions to upload a snapshot found here.
[HEADING=3]To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:[/HEADING]
          [ol]
[li]In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.[/li][li]In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.[/li][li]Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot dialog box. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.[/li][/ol]

thanks for the help. I already detect that the gpu that i bought was fake. I just bought it on an online selling platform. can i use or update it to the original driver instead of the driver that it was written.

If it’s a fake unit you would be best to refund it for a proper unit, I wouldn’t bother trying to make it into something it’s not. You never know what the last person has done to it if they’re willing to sell you a false product.

Hopefully you bought from somewhere with buyer protection, if not this is an unfortunate lesson to learn.

Good luck, I hope you can get your money back and buy a card from a reputable retailer.
