Hey guys i need help with my pc please

I was cleaning out my PC cause it was dusty and had a bit of cat hair in it. So I took my gpu out and wiped it down with toilet paper and then I used a toothpick to clean the inside alittle and when I put the card back into the mobo and turn the PC on I get dram issues and I wasn’t having any issues before this one
My specs are
Msi z270 tomahawk
i5 7600k
16 gb ram
And a 1060 g1 gaming
Please if you have any info can you let me know what to do ?

When cleaning electronic components you need to be extra careful, cloth and fabrics can cause damage, same for using toothpicks, you need to be extra careful what you poke/prod and how to you do so.

With that out of the way, let’s try removing the GPU and plugging directly into the HDMI port at the back of the motherboard. Do you get an error?

I pulled the gpu out and made sure everything was plugged in and the light goes off
The thing is I didn’t touch electronics when I wiped the card down. I wiped the backplate down and I only used a toothpick on the cooling part of the card

I got the PC to boot with the card in it this time without any issues

Might have been seated incorrectly, you should hear a click and the unit should be somewhat-secured.

Keep monitoring and update us in a couple of days if it doesn’t come back, it’s always good to hear what helps a problem (or doesn’t!) for future thread-viewers.
