Update: I tried to reset the bios like instructions said, still not able to get anything on the screen. I also removed the graphics card and took it out of it’s “case” could not see any burnt/popped capacitors or anything like that…cleaned the connector with pencil eraser, then re-installed.

Ok we don’t know the cpu full specs but try this. We do not know if your cpu supports on board graphics
remove graphics card and attach monitor to onboard graphics
After bios reset are the fans still spinning at max

Depending on setup some fans only come on when needed
                  Is the cpu fan running

Update: with the new HDD pcb board out, and the old HDD pcb board in, and graphics card still out, I was able to get my sign in screen up and was able to sign in! Question(s)… 1) does this mean that the graphics card is fried/shot 2) is the new HDD pcb bad?

Replacement boards for HDD like that is a basic rip off
There is a chip on the boards that need to be changed.
The video card, you could try in another slot

I put graphics card in a different slot, still no image on screen, does this confirm graphics card is bad? Good news though, I was able to get a refund for the HDD pcb.

                                That would be my guess
