    No display on monitor

I recently bought parts for my computer which are a prime b450 plus motherboard and a ryzen 5 5500 cpu, I have tried everything to get it to work, I have used a athlon 3000g that works on my old pc on the motherboard but it doesnt work, reseating the ram with one ram slot used, all connections are plugged in, the hdmi was used in both the motherboard and the gpu if needed and still no display, I reset the cmos and changed the battery, all the parts work on my other pc just not this motherboard, any help would be appreciated.
The lights are on and the fans spin and everything seems to turn on just not display. I checked the monitor

    My specs are
    Prime b450 us mobo
    Ryzen 5 5500
    1660 super
    16gb ddr4 ram 2666
    120gb kingston ssd

    Hello

Did you install the chipset drivers for the mobo?

Do you have an option to use another type cable (vga) perhaps?

Other may have more to say on this…

What is the make and model of the PSU that you are using?

The Ryzen 5 5500 has no onboard display capablity and requires you to have indepandant display card. Which should of worked with the 1660 Supper.

Find and compare detailed product specifications for AMD products including processors, graphics cards, server accelerators, embedded processors.

The Athlon 3000g does why it has the g at the end and according to the motherboard is combatable.

Several thing I can suggest is test te graphics board in the other system to elimate that.

Now personally would contact the motherboards manufracture have read alot that that model B450 have had nothing but issues.

Another thing that you can attempt is assemble the entire system outside of the case on a thinck piece of cardboard. If the same thing happens then possible motherboard.
