    ASUSTEK M5A97 r2.0 and G.SKILL Trident X 16gb DDR3 CL10, compatibility

    Hello. I want to upgrade the ram on my pc. My pc has a asustek m5a97 r2.0 motherboard and i have found a good deal on a pair of g.sklill trident x 16gb ddr3 ram sticks however i dont know if they are compatable with my motherboard.

    Does anyone know if they are compatable with eachother?

      best way to check would be the Quality Vendors List (QVL) for that motherboard on the ASUS site.
