Specs: Sabretooth 990fx r2.0
3.8ghz 6core intel cpu (??)
2x8G gskill ares ram
Msi r9 390 8Gb GPU
850w psu
1tb ssd+1tb hdd

After installing the gpu, the computer posts but gives me an error. One long beep & four short. I switched the ram around and now I get one long and three short. Using my old GPU, everything works fine. The card lights up but i get no signal. Pls send help

is the MSI R9 the old card or the new card?
what is the make/model of that other card?

my cpu cooler fell off while I was replying to the thread.
i literally just fixed it today and got online to reply to this but whatever so thanks for your free help bro

For the benefit of the OP here and others, PCHF threads will never be closed or the OP asked for an update if the OP lets us know that they will be away, we understand that folk have other things going on but due to the large volume of people that join, post the same request for help on multiple forums then abandon most if not all of them forums such as PCHF need to close such threads so as to keep the forums in order.[/COLOR]
