at the moment the laptop as the SSD which came with it and 16gb of memory
what I would like to know is if installing a faster SSD ( wd sn850) ? Would this be a big advantage to speed of operation
and also would adding more memory be a good idea?
I do not think that you can get much of an increase in performance on any MEDION.
Even though it is actually made by LENOVO, you can buy it from Aldi…the supermarket…
Try disabling all “eye candies” , e.g. desktop image (set it to solid color)

Thank you for your reply,
I appreciate your knowledge. The machine isn’t bad as such just enquiring about seeing if it where possible for a little more performance as well as increase in storage space
Storagewise , yes you can increase: Just clone your old HDD onto a new faster one.
Check the motherboard specs, and see if you can add any -and what type of- memory.
Most OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) systems cannot be overclocked, so if the M/B supports a better CPU you can upgrade it.
