I have an audibly loud buzz coming from i believe is my graphics card. The odd thing is it only* happens with bright screens… it didnt always do this and but the computer runs fine otherwise. Any reason this just started happening? or a way to stop it? It is pretty loud and kind of irritating. It doesn’t matter if I’m playing a game or just opening an internet tab that happens to have a white background.. that buzz persists once it reaches a brightness thresh hold. Im currently running windows 10 with a 1080ti and an i-7. I tried updating windows and the card but that didnt change anything

You need to provide better information about your computer, is it a custom build or brand name such as Dell or HP, if a brand name, provide the model name or series number (not serial) if a custom build post the brand and model name or number for the CPU, MB, the RAM (including the amount) add on video card and the PSU (power supply unit) providing these details will enable folk to better assist you.Comment

Any feedback on the test that was suggested by Pyro.

Side note, the PSU is only Bronze efficiency rated as well and using such a low spec PSU with anything more than integrated graphics should be classed as a criminal offence
Other possible causes can include failing fan bearings and vibration, a broken case weld took me a good while to track down one time, I couldn’t charge the customer for the amount of hrs it took to find itComment
