    Is my cpu dead?

    Everything in the pc works with my original ryzen 5 1400 now we put in a ryzen 5 5900x to see if it works cuzz its rhe same am4 socket. And the led lights turn on all the fans start going but the display just says no signal we tried 3 displays all the display ports nothing works. Is the cpu dead ?

        Make sure you’re plugging into the GPU not the motherboard, you will not get output from the motherboard output.

        If you’re done that and still have no luck, I’d try reseating your GPU.

        Remember to turn the computer power supply to the off (O) position and have removed the power cable.

        Ground yourself to the case by touching it and work on an ESD-safe workspace (A wood or plastic table would do just fine).
