GIGABYTE Z690 Aorus Ultra Error code C1

    Hi Everyone …
I recently upgraded my pc with a z690 Aorus Ultra, 12700k CPU, and 2x16 XPG DDR5 6000MHz. For the first 5 days, the PC was working normally after that when I was power on my pc, the pc not Booting and the motherboard starts flashing red, brought up codes from 20, and stopped on code C1. It then turns off briefly and then turns on again, like in a cycle. Then I sent it to the provider and the RAM was replaced with new ones (2x16 XPG DDR5) but at a frequency of 5200 MHz Then in the second week, I got the same problem with the new RAMs. I wanted to know if there is anyone who had this happen and what they did to resolve it.

    PC SPEC.

    Hello

Have you updated the bio’s.. Also C1 status occurs during memory initialization. Make sure the memory sticks are in the correct slots. Try that 3rd slot, some say that works.

        Can you access the bios
        are you overclocking your ram
The ram is outside the specs for your cpu Click On Me
If you can access you bios
can you slow the ram down?
This site Click On Me says the voltage is 1.2V
Check what the voltage is set at now

The computer won’t boot, I can’t get into the BIOS .
The speed of the RAM is 4800MHz ( the XMP is OFF ).
I have not done any operation related to overclocking on this computer in general
And the temperature did not reach 45 ° C in all parts of the computer during operation

Before the first die of the RAM, the XMP feature was activated on a frequency of 6000MHz,
and after connecting the new RAM, I did not activate the XMP feature and kept it on the factory frequency at 4800MHz.

2 rams in same mb could be faulty mb
                    Let’s ask @Bruce

To correct, two pieces of RAM die at the same time each time, meaning that a total of 4 RAM died in less than two weeks .. on the same motherboard

mobo specs says 4800 is the highest non OC speed, so that would have been my default setting until the rig was well bedded-in, say for the first few months, then you could try some OC’ing to get better performance.
not that any of that is your fault Abass.

and you are right, 4 sticks dying is unheard of, other factors are at play here.
                        something hasn’t been configured right.
who the upgrade of the mobo, CPU and RAM?
                        anything else touched?

luckily this is all under warranty, so (sadly) back to the shop it goes!
I think the motherboard is of poor quality. Because when the first 2 rams died and I replaced it with new 2 ram, I did not activate the XMP feature and left the ram at the factory settings at a frequency of 4800 and it also died within a week

                          ouch - yep warranty time!
I’ll leave this thread open for now, until you can get back up and running with the new hardware.

                          good luck. (y)
