CPU LIGHT ON NO POST.

Ill keep it short & sweet. I have a i7-12700k that will not POST with an AORUS elite ax DDR4. no matter what I come up with a CPU light on the mobo. I have tried the CPU on 3 other mobos, same light. I bought another cpu to test, same light. I have tried different ram with different slots, nothing. CPU cooler is plugged in & works. Power to mobo & cpu plug ins checked. Two different PSUs tried, same thing. No Beeps with speaker. Literally everything powers on but this CPU I guess. Tried Q flashing, did not light up at all to show me it was working. I feel like I have done everything. Please help!!!

Even tried it with my old r9 380x. All come up with the same thing. RED CPU LIGHT ON NO POST.

What are the brand and model name or number details of the other three MBs, unless you have been real unlucky the odds of you getting two bad CPUs is so small that I can`t put a figure on it.

I just went to a shop & they tried a 12th gen i5 processor in my main new mobo, it worked. (Aorus gigabyte elite ax ddr4). I had 2 12700k bad processors I guess.

That is real unlucky but thanks for letting us know and we wish you better luck with any replacement.
