Pc will not start

Hi I fitted a new cpu today into my pc and now my pc will not power up check All the cables are still connect and ram the lights on back of pc where the ethernet cable cable plugs in does t even come on power supply is only 3months old

Did you use thermal paste and the proper amount?

Without any system specs would be guessing?

Does the old CPU work in the system?

Asus a320m k mother board was an Athlan amd cpu bought a ryzen 5 5600x checked to make sure it would work before I bought it thermal paste was used correctly but still will not boot up tried putting old one in lights on back come on but still no boot up checked the power supply and that works
