Need help with RGBFusion and RAM on B560 Aorus Pro AX MoBo

Hi everyone, I’m here to ask you for help.
I have a B560 Aorus Pro AX motherboard with the infamous RGBFusion RGB management tool.
I have been trying to solve this problem for two months: I have some Patriot Viper ram which at first were not really detected by the app; then, after many emails with Gigabyte technical assistance, they finally sent me a version of the app capable of detect my ram. I installed it and everything worked! I couldn’t believe it! And in fact it was too good to be true: at first reboot the rams did not turn on anymore! RGBFusion detect them and for the app it is as if everything were working but, actually, the rams do not turn on anymore, they are off!

Please help me, technical assistance replies every time after 7/10 days and I can’t find a solution.

Thanks to those who want to help me.

sorry, no experience in RAM RGB’s or RGB Fusion software.
my only foray into RGB was a NZXT CPU cooler and that was plug and play simple.

throwing ideas out there… have you checked the Gigabyte website (or the web in general) for an even early version of the app?
other than that, if having your RAM glow like a disco is important, finding out RGB Fusions list of compatible RAM and changing yours for those may be the best way forward.

Not my thing either but will take a look if the OP lets us have the specs that Veeg requested.

hi everyone, here are the specifications of my pc:

-MoBo Gigabyte B560 Aorus Pro AX (1.0) (bios version F8)
-CPU Intel i5 11400F
-RAM Patriot Viper 2x8GB 3200 MHz DDR4
-SSD Crucial 1TB P2 NVMe PCIe M.2
-PSU Seasonic Core GC 80 Plus gold 650W
-GPU Gigabyte Aorus Geforce RTX 3060 Ti
-Cooler ThermalTake TH240 ARGB 240mm
-Case ThermalTake V250 TG
-OS Windows 10 PRO

Thanks for the replies.
I would like to specify that the ram are compatible with the motherboard and that the current version of RGB Fusion was sent to me by Gigabyte technical assistance, precisely because the other versions (including the last one) did not detect the ram.
It is not very important for me to have the rams lit but the pc belongs to my son and he likes them, so …

looks like in this case, not only does your RAM need to be mobo compatible, but also RGBFusion compatible.

I wonder if other RGB software would do the job - but again, not my area.

We need the exact RAM details I`m afraid, a link to the place of purchase will do, using the info that has been provided gets the following Google results here we have no way of knowing which RAM you have from the many that are listed there.

We can get the info using Speccy;

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

What makes me crazy is that they are compatible with both motherboard and rgb fusion …
I checked before buying all the components but it didn’t help!
Thanks for your help, anyway.

Sorry, you’re right, I need to be more specific …
Here is the Speccy link.
The rams are these ones.
More specifically, this kit.

As you can see they are compatible with RGB Fusion, unfortunately it seems only on data sheets …

No problem and thanks for the additional info, couple of things of note, Speccy is not reporting the speed and voltage of the RAM and the voltages to the MB are off, we can check this if needs be but first off there is something of particular note in your Patriot link
With a unique aluminum heatshield and aggressive design,
the Viper RGB Series will look good in any build. The
aluminum heatshield offers superior heat dissipation to
ensure excellent performance, even when using demanding
applications. The 5 RGB lighting zones are all fully
customizable with our easy to use Viper RGB Software

Suggestion, uninstall the non working RGB fusion software - restart the PC - download and install Patriot`s own RGB software, and see how that goes, see info here first though.
