Hi all,
My voice is not recorded when I use online sites (like vocaroo) despite allowing the required mic permission on Chrome, Opera, Firefox. They start recording when I hit the record button, but can’t pick up the voice. The complete recording is blank. Trying different browsers didn’t solve the issue. However, I’m facing no issues when I use the “Voice Recorder” software on Windows 10. My driver software is also showing “up to date”. I tried Troubleshooting for Sound problems, but it’s not showing up any issues either.
What can be the issue & how to resolve it? I need to fix this ASAP. If you know, let me know. Looking forward to a prompt response.
P.S. I’m not sure if the issue is with my software or Windows or the browsers or something else. As far as I can tell, it must have to do something with the mic because the sites are working, only that they aren’t recording the voice. And that’s persistent with different such websites on different browsers. I have also granted the mic permission and checked the properties and configuration for mic, but there’s no problem there either. So I can’t exactly tell what’s the issue. If you think I need to move this post to another section, please let me know.
