GPU Makes Rattling Noise

Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone knows what is causing this noise I’m hearing. It sounds like a rattle almost like the GPU fan is clanking against something and starts/stops at random times. I attempted to attach a zip containing the video because for some reason I could not just attach the video itself. I took out the GPU and cleaned it thoroughly with Q-tips hoping that would solve the problem. It did not. Also, this card experiences really high temperatures when playing certain games, like EFT, upwards of 96 degrees celsius, but runs cool (35-45) degrees under light use. I have installed two extra fans to attempt to fix this issue, however, it still gets really hot. Wondering if anyone knows a solution to one or both problems because GPU prices are not cheap. Thank you!

GPU is a GTX 1060
Motherboard is an ASUS h310 prime plus
CPU is an Intel i7-8700

sounds like the bearing may have collapsed.
with the PC running, have you opened up the case and looked at the GPU fan spinning?
poke a soft bristled brush into the spinning blades to make them stop - they should slow down nicely, with no other noise than the bristles hitting the blades.

The GPU fan is barely spinning at all, and when it does speed up is when it makes this noise. Should I attempt to disassemble the fan itself and clean it even more then I already did?

OK, the bearing has seized.

quick fix, remove the card and spray the inside of the bearing (hard to get to I know) with some squirts of WD40 or CRC20 (or your local equivalent) and that may free it up.

but that would only be a short term fix, you will need to either get a new fan for that make/model of GPU (in itself a tricky task sometimes) or get a new card.
