Help! Computer died won’t power up

my computer shut down mid game, won’t power up. I did the paper clip test, and figured I had a bad PSU. Installed PSU, and still only trying to boot for 1 second and turns it self off. Any suggestions?

remove the memory sticks and the graphics card (if a separate 3rd party GPU) and clean their circuitry and their mobo slots, wipe their contact points and reseat them and see if that helps.

if not, when the PSU went bad, it may have delivered bad voltage to the motherboard - not common, but not unheard of either.

you could also try running the rig without the GPU (if 3rdy party) and if the CPU allows it.
and also try swapping out the RAM - using only one at a time and in different slots.
