Thank you, Bruce. Just for the record, both memory sticks are exactly the same brand, with the same specifications.

I bought the sticks through Aliexpress from a Chinese retailer. I sent them a message letting them know what happened, since those sticks are fairly new. I’m waiting for the reply.
