CPU temp too high.

Hey! It has been a while since I wrote anything here.

To begin with, I have a Lenovo Legion T5 26AMR5.
CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600.
GPU - RTX 2060 6GB.
Motherboard - B550 mATX.
PSU – RM750 Corsair.
16 GB RAM.

My main problems before were about my PSU being bad and my pc crashing all the time. That was all fixed with a new PSU and the deletion of a program called “Bonjour”.

But something I should have taken note of before as well was the high temperature readings from Speccy about the CPU. My GPU has good readings and that’s not anything I am worried about, especially since I looked up normal readings regarding temperature for both CPU’s and GPU’s.
Right now, my CPU has 66-70 Celsius from me doing more than having my web browser open. Not good at all.
My main problem here is that I have no idea whatsoever of what kind of cooling I need to buy.
I have this cheaply looking fan attached to it from when i bought the pc.

What kind of cooling can I buy, and which is worth buy, and is it even worth changing to you guys? I am rather unsure so that’s why I am asking. (This damn pc came with some problems haha).

while the factory supplied air cooled heatsinks and fans are very capable, the 3rd party after market ones are that bit better. with water cooled being that bit better again.

any air cooled system for $AUD50-100 will do a great job.
single fan radiator water coolers are even as low as $AUD120’ish if you are chasing a few degrees cooler.

I converted my rig from a Noctua air cooler to NZXT water cooled and only noticed about a 5 degree drop.

If the computer has been running for a while with ok temps
You may need to replace the thermal paste.
Are you comfortable with pulling your computer apart? We can give you instructions on how to do this.
have you checked the fan and heatsink for dust?

Not really too comfy with picking apart my cooler unless i feel the need to change it.

Should i change it and if so what cooler can i change it too? @PeterOz

Can you download speedfan Click On Me and run . Post a screen shot.
If you need to change cooler I will bow to Bruce for advise.
