my cpu is spiking to 100% and dropping my fps to about 40 occasionally when i play roblox, and i dont know why. please help, it is really weird[ATTACH type=“full” width=“542px”]8412[/ATTACH][ATTACH type=“full” width=“542px”]8413[/ATTACH]

it seems to only happen for a short period, so maybe something like a background maintenance task, or check for Windows updates process or the like may be the cause.

restart the PC into Safe Mode and see if it does it then?
are you only noticing it during game play, that is, it doesn’t slow the PC down when doing normal activities?

instead of the CPU performance graph, in Task Manager and go to the Detaisl tab, click on the CPU column heading to sort it and see which application is hogging the processor.
