So I had a small power outage last night and I got an error on my pc said CPU fan error. The rear fan and the graphics card fans are working and I have a liquid cooler but I also noticed my front fans are not spinning and honestly I don’t think they ever did as I took a picture of it running when I first got it and the fans were not spinning then. Is that normal? Attaching SPECS its a cyberpower prebuilt. I tried going into the Bios and fixing it there but it just lists the fan as N/A unless I choose to ignore CPU fan speed and that’s the only way I can boot the PC. The PC is very cool to the touch 28-30C while not running large applications.

I figured it out! Like a noob I had no idea what I was looking at so I took out the fans studied the connectors realized they weren’t connected to the PSU SINCE I BOUGHT IT! Plugged them to a Molex cable and boom. This was great training now I know I can either do that or connect them directly to the mother board CHA1 fan etc. It was just really confusing to me because they were a daisy chain setup now I know… lol thanks for the advice though Rustys!Comment
