I’m having trouble with connecting my keyboard and mouse to my new and first ever PC build.. everything that’s connected to the motherboard itself (pin connector, graphics card + PCIe Cables, etc.) and all fans running. I have a razer brand keyboard and mouse that me and my brother have used off an on and still works perfectly fine on our xbox’s but not when connected to the PC.
Case Setup:
Thermaltake 650w PSU
Ryzen 7 3700x/Athlon 3000g
RTX Nvidia EVGA 3070 GPU
Corsair Vengeance RAM DDR4
Motherboard requires me to use a gen1 CPU (Ahtlon 3000g) in order to update and/or flash the bios onto the monitor to be able to switch it out with my gen3 CPU (Ryzen 7 3700x). I have two separate usb hard drives; one with Windows 10 downloaded on it and the other with BIOS downloaded on it. Next step would be to plug it in the 3.0 header with keyboard and mouse correct? Well when I plug mine in the RGB (indicating it is working) does not power. Sorry for the long explanation, hope someone can help.
P.S. I’v also tried using an older mouse and keyboard which also does NOT work unfortunately and unplugging/rep lugging in one of the RAM sticks.
