    Hard drive problem

I have 2 hard drive. I just built a new pc and I’m reusing them. The first one work just fine but all the data on it was erased. However, when I connect the second one, I’m stuck at the motherboard logo loading for over 30 min. I’m wondering if I need to wait longer as there is data on the second drive or if I’m doing something wrong.

Does the second hard drive contain Windows or just files?
How are the hard drives connected to the PC - via USB caddy or internal?

Only files on it (games mostly) and it’s connected internally. The connection is working and the drive is working fine as well.

It may be there’s some games on it which aren’t compatible with the latest version of Windows 10. Did you run the same Windows build as on your previous PC?
Is cleaning the drive & reinstalling the games & files an option?

Make and model of both HDD(s)?

After you installed the first did you install an Operating System
Then see if the system booted before adding the second drive?
How well did the system run?

If you remove the second drive does the system boot?

How are the drives connected to the system?

Complete system specs make and model including power supply unit.
