Sporadic PC freeze and game minimize.

Not sure which thread to put this in because I’m not sure what the root of the problem is.

Sometimes whilst playing games my game will freeze for a dozen or so seconds where everything freezes even ctrl-alt-delete doesn’t help.

Then recently (last few months) I’ve had an issue where my games will randomly minimize…

    Hardware:
    GPU
    Gigabyte Radeonâ„¢ RX 5700 Gaming OC 8G GDDR6
    CPU
AMD Ryzen 5 3600X Processor with Wraith Spire cooler
    Mobo
MSI B450 Tomahawk Max AMD AM4 Socket ATX Desktop PC Motherboard
    PSU
    Cooler Master RS-650-AMAA-G1 Vanguard-S 650W Semi-Modular Power Supply

You other duplicate post have been removed.

So others can assist lets start with this.

    How old is the system?

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

Include the make and model of the Power Supply Unit

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

Make sure that you are not doing a motion with the mouse and or keyboard that is causing this.

Specific games or just any of them and online versa offline?

Erratic or happens after certain point and or time?

How do you connect to the internet?

Have you checked the temps during idle versa under a load?

      Here is my Speccy link:

So I think the random minimizing might be aligned with about the same time I started using a second monitor. Thing is, even if I disconnect my second screen’s HDMI cable the minimizing still occurs.

It happens with every game from what I can tell, some worse than others. It doesn’t happen often most of the time, but Apex is the worst offender, minimizing every 2nd to 3rd game.

I connect to the internet using a LAN Cable

My temps don’t run too hot, I could do a benchmark test with any program you suggest if that helps.

If you google the issue, you will find a solution that has to do with deactivating some pop-up features in windows 10 which I disabled under services I believe.

Go into setting and check the Ease of Access

Look under keyboard and mouse and turn off anything that is on.

Reboot and see if that helps.

Pay attention to the keys and movement and see if we can narrow it down that way.

Is there another active windows that is there that is not normally there when this happens?
            Even if it is minimized

            other may have more ideas.

What is loaded when this happens?

Could it be the Anti Cheat software that you have loaded on the system?

Also suggest trying a clean boot
