He tried restarting his pc, didn’t work, any other suggestions or solutions? if you need any more info I’ll let you know

show he changed his monitor and now it’s working?
what error doe he get or what image is displayed when the PC starts?
what has been tried so far?
try removing the add-on graphics card if there is one and plugging the monitor into the motherboards display pports (id there is one and the CPU supports it).
