    "No Signal" coming from PC

    Hello!

I built my own gaming PC a little bit over a year ago and it worked great… until a few months ago. I moved from my house back into my college dorm and went to start up my PC just to see the monitor was giving me a “No Signal” message.

Since I was in school, I didn’t have the time to troubleshoot more than making sure everything was plugged in and tightly connected. I brought it to a local PC shop, where after a bit of time, the shop owner told me the only thing giving him an error was my motherboard. I said “great!” and ordered a nice new motherboard for my PC. He installed it for me and it didn’t fix anything.

The next test was to rebuild the internal hardware on a piece of cardboard to check for grounding issues. It still didn’t work. The guy then went through and claims he tested everything (which included switching out the GPU, RAM, and processor with ones he knew worked), and still nothing seemed to work.

I tried to install a new SSD and reinstall Windows to see if it was an SSD corruption issue, but that didn’t work either. Every time I do anything the “No Signal” message pops up on my monitor.

All of my hardware seems to be cycling normally (most of them have some sort of RGB function) and the fans are running fine, so I’m really at a loss as to what the issue is. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as my PC is a big part of my school work.
