Hello I'm new and need help

Hi everyone, I’m very new to everything computer hardware / everything and I’m definitely new to posting to a forum of any kind. So I thought that this introduction section would be a good place for me to start. I basically have a question and don’t really know where I can ask it without irritating anyone with my lack of knowledge on everything to do with computers.
So The quest ion I am looking for answers to is I I’m looking for a LGA 1151 DDR4 motherboard with m.2 that is compatible with 6th gen Intel. My CPU is a I-5 6500 it is also a sky lake version I don’t know if I’m saying that right but I think that could be a significant detail
anyway if anybody can point me in the right direction I would be very grateful for any insight thanks and have a great day.

Motherboards for the 1151 socket are pricey today because of the chip shortage.

Newegg has some here. You’ll want to determine if you need a full size (ATX) or mini (ITX). The box your case came with should tell you what size motherboards will fit in it
