Usually use mainboard GPU, and first time installation of GPU yet dissapointed with the perfomance, please advice where the problem is

computer specification
Motherboard : ASUS A320M-K
Cpu : AMD A10-9700
Hdd : Seagate 2tb 7200rpm
Ssd : Samsung Evo 970
Ram : 8gb
Gpu : colorful gtx1070
Windows 10- 64bit

i just installed the gpu and feeled nothing improved at all, with
1. display output through GPU already
2. installed latest GPU driver
3. system detect GPU
4. GPU fan is working

I wonder what i can do to know where the faulties at. thank you

I know this is silly to even ask this, I only ask cause I have seen this. Is your Monitor plugged into the GPU or still on the MB? Do You have the proper power plugs on the gpu? Reseat them

compared to onboard, a 1070 should rock that PC.

Hi Hackerballs, i have mention in point 1. monitor plugged into gpu…all tried… it is possible that low grade processor will bottle neck gpu?

Single stick or more?

If you only have the one stick means that can only work in single channel which is 50% of the performance that it is capable of when paired with a matching stick.

Knowing the make and model would be helpful. According to the specification for the Motherboard this is what you are to be running

Hi Rustys,

it is single stick. i have just tested that dota 2 with highest quality all is running fine. maybe the problem is my game itself? actually i am playing a very old game called laghaim, and the game doesnt even using install, just unzip from private server website. i played this 15 years ago at internet cafe, but the quality doesnt like my pc now. it is better

Could be the game, is laghaim the only one giving the issue?
Be more specific.
Could be the age of the game or an update is needed.
