So today my new case arrived, and I switched the components from the previous case to the new one, but my pc wont show signs of power. What should I do?I connected all the cables(My psu is nonmodular)
Make sure the mobo isn’t touching the case. Check your standoffs..
could it prevent it from getting any power?Like i dissasembled it 2 times, and remade it, still no power. But it was touching the case a bit because there were only 4 screws on the mobo. After i put everything back on i noticed that i got standoffs in the bag that came with the case.
assuming when the motherboard was touching the case and nothing has been shorted out, and with only have 4 standoffs, there may have been excess stress and flexing of the mobo as components were pushed on, then i would reassemble it all outside the case on a piece of cardboard on a table or the floor and see if that gets it going.
