None of the ports on my pc are working and idk why

I moved recently and had my computer shipped and when I received the computer none of the ports to include my USB, hdmi, headphones jack or any of the others are working the computer will kick on but I have limited ways to figure out the problem since my location does not allow access to any sort of tech store. Does anyone know what the issue could be this includes the ports on my GPU as well

initial thought is the unit has received a knock and something inside has come lose.
is it a desktop PC or laptop?

what is your comfort level with getting a screwdriver and opening it up to peek inside?

It is a pc and as for my comfort level if I don’t really have a choice since if I can’t manage to fix it then I basically has no use to me so I’ll do what I need to.

first up, take off the side cover and check the internals.
check all the cables are securely pushed into their relative ports and that no components have come lose.
like the GPU, push it into the motherboard slot until the locking pin at the end of the slot ‘clicks’ into place.

some cables may not be in use, so some may be lying around unplugged, this is fine but may make it hard to work out whether they are lying around due do popping lose or were never used in the first place.

maybe attach a photo of the insides (make sure to turn off the GPS metadata on the camera first!)
