    Beginner PC Build (Help!)

So I’m very new to PCs and hardware but I really wanted to build one. Fortunately, I have some friends who know a bit about them and listed me some recommendations on parts to get. Can yall please give me some input or suggestions on the parts that are listed below, it would be greatly appreciated, thanks! (the main use would be gaming, trying to keep it relatively cheap, under 2k)

    welcome to the forums.

can’t see any issues with those parts.
purely personal - but I’d not bother with LED memory, never understood why you want any components glowing myself, just adds to the price and needs a nice glass case to display it all if you do want to go down that flashy path.
I’d also consider going up a notch or two on the power supply, like 750 or 800 at least, will give you room to expand if you ever change GPU’s down the track.
and maybe also add a HDD for the stuff you don’t need SSD speeds for, and for backups!

maybe also look into a RTX3060 for that price. The GPU seemed high

        GTX1660 super’s are about $850, RTX3060’s are about $1300.
we need to shop at your supplier @hackerballs

Oh, a 3060 is under 600 here in Vancouver. Oop’s. Bought my RTX3080 for $1000 last year.

I have no ties with this site. All cpu stores here are the same
