    Wifi

    I just bought a prebuilt PC: https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9186...ckPR=plp:20:31
I plugged it in and realised the WiFi connection was very slow. There was also some antennae at the back and some other small parts in a bag but there were no instructions on how to install them. Any help?

        What are you considering slow?
        What speeds do you have?
        What speeds are you getting?

Lets get some more information about the system

Make and model including for the Power Supply

Download then run Speccy (free) and post the resultant url for us, details here, this will provide us with information about your computer hardware + any software that you have installed that may explain the present issue/s.

To publish a Speccy profile to the Web:

In Speccy, click File, and then click Publish Snapshot.

In the Publish Snapshot dialog box, click Yes to enable Speccy to proceed.

Speccy publishes the profile and displays a second Publish Snapshot. You can open the URL in your default browser, copy it to the clipboard, or close the dialog box.

how far and what is the signal passing through to get to your system.
where are you getting the speed from?

Disable BullGuard see if that makes a differance

the PC is in my bedroom and the router is on the other side of the house. I used to have an iMac in the same spot as the PC and it worked fine. The speed is seen speccy. Disabling bullguard didn’t make a difference

Run different times of the day and let us know that speeds you are getting.

Use Speedtest on all your devices with our free desktop and mobile apps.

It is about 11 metres away from the pc. It is downstairs so it is passing through the floor. On ookla I get 0.12 MBps download speed and 0.28MBps upload speed
