ram won't allocate to the iGpu

So im kinda stuck with intel hd graphics at the moment so i went and tried to allocate a 1gb of ram to it and when i boot up the pc and check the vram it says 128mb.
    I have a i5 4440 with intel hd4600, 12gb of ram and asus b85m-g motherboard.

An obvious question but we have to ask, are you saving the new settings in the BIOS before exiting.

I fixed the problem. I replaced the mother board and it all works now.
