As discussed the issue still hasn’t returned, not sure if it’s fixed permanently but I’m happy for the thread to be closed as of now.
I am going to be re-enabling things shortly and if it does happen again will come back to see about getting this re-opened.
For anyone reading this who has similar issues; I’m still not sure of the exact cause but in the interests of helping others the problems identified for me were:

For anyone reading this who has similar issues; I’m still not sure of the exact cause but in the interests of helping others the problems identified for me were:
- RAM speed set higher than the CPU can handle
- High performance power mode enabled in Windows
- Windows update issue (since rolled back)
- iCue causing system instability
- Me not connecting PSU cables properly, not securing it properly in the case or leaving them in contact with metal to possibly short
